From there, every piece enters the SeaWash cycle: a full lunar month—twenty-eight days and twenty-eight nights—sealed inside an oyster bag and submerged in Nantucket’s tidal water. Guided by the moon, the garment is worked by salt, sun, and moving water. The process eases the hand of the fleece and creates subtle, organic shifts in tone and surface character that cannot be replicated by enzyme washes, stone treatments, or mechanical abrasion.
